New NIB director

SYDNEY insurance banker Christine McLoughlin has been appointed non-executive director on the board of Newcastle health insurer NIB Holdings.Ms McLoughlin was appointed by the board to fill a casual vacancy and will stand for re-election at the annual general meeting in October.NIB is one of a handful of listed Newcastle companies and its constitution states it must have no fewer than three board members at any time and no more than 10.Ms McLoughlin started her career as a commercial lawyer with international firm Allens Arthur Robinson.
